Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Launches First Shopping Centre EcoHub

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur announced Malaysia’s first shopping centre, EcoHub, and a partnership with SWCorp Malaysia as part of its sustainability campaign in Kuala Lumpur.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur stated the campaign runs from May 5 to 10 at Centre Court. It said the EcoHub includes reverse vending machines, a vending machine, and smart recycling bins.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur stated shoppers receive cash-equivalent credits through the RVMplus app for recycling PET bottles and aluminium cans. It said shoppers can redeem the credits for merchandise and beverages at the on-site vending machine.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur stated LifeLine Clothing Malaysia serves as the textile recycling partner through Upcycle4Better. It said clothing donation bins are installed at the mall for unwanted garments.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur stated the campaign includes workshops, giveaways, and sustainability displays across the mall. It said participating brands include National Geographic, LUSH, The Body Shop, Dr. Hauschka, Dome, Maybank and Pavilion Hotel.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur stated additional displays at the Spanish Steps feature L’Occitane, GANNI, Mulberry, Aveda, Kiehl’s, Lancôme, Royal Selangor, Bonia, Aēsop and VIVAIA. It said that Taylor’s University and Upcycle4Better also present student-upcycled creations made from pre-owned Converse apparel.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur stated that Malaysia Singer 2026 holds a Grand Launch Showcase on May 9 at 2pm. It said that Fan Bing Bing will attend a meet-and-greet on May 10 at 4:30 pm.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur stated shoppers can redeem a National Geographic tote bag for single receipts of RM800 or more from May 5 to 31. It said eligible Pavilion Privileges members can receive a Montigo 32oz Ace Bottle Mega for single speciality-store receipts of RM1,500 from May 5 to 10.
