Seiko on May 12 said it is releasing a limited-edition Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph to mark the company’s 145th anniversary.
The watch uses the new Caliber 5X63 movement. Seiko said the movement combines dual-time technology with a chronograph function that measures up to 24 hours in 1/20th-of-a-second increments. The company said the commemorative model will be limited to 2,000 pieces and available worldwide from June 2026 at Seiko Boutiques and selected retail partners.
Seiko said the anniversary model features blue accents inspired by Seiko Blue and includes a titanium bracelet and an exclusive silicone strap. It said the case has a quick-change system for switching straps and measures 43.4 mm in diameter and 12.4 mm in thickness. Recommended retail price in Europe is 3,000 euros.
The company also said three continuous-production Astron models using the same movement and exterior construction will be released. Recommended retail prices in Europe are 2,800 euros for HAB001 and HAB002, and 2,700 euros for HAB003. White and black silicone straps compatible with the new GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph models will also be sold separately for 210 euros.
