Samsung Launches Odyssey, ViewFinity Monitor Lineup Globally

Samsung Electronics announced global availability of its 2026 Odyssey gaming monitors and ViewFinity S8 lineup in Korea on May 20, 2026, to expand its gaming and professional display offerings.

Samsung said the lineup included three Odyssey G8 models, an Odyssey G7, and the ViewFinity S8 series. It said the products were available for order starting May 20. 

Samsung said the 32-inch Odyssey G8 G80HS was the industry’s first 6K gaming monitor. It said the model offered 6K at 165Hz and up to 330Hz at 3K through Dual Mode. Samsung said the 27-inch G80HF supported 5K at 180Hz or up to 360Hz in QHD through Dual Mode.

Samsung said the Odyssey OLED G8 G80SH came in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes. It said the model featured 4K resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, USB-C charging up to 98W, and QD-OLED Penta Tandem technology. Samsung said the 32-inch version received VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.

Samsung said the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G7 G73SH featured 4K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, up to 330Hz in FHD through Dual Mode, and a 0.03ms response time.

Samsung said the 40-inch ViewFinity S8 S85TH featured a curved WUHD display and 144Hz refresh rate. It said Thunderbolt 5 supported 80 Gbps data transfer and up to 140W charging. Samsung said the 27-inch S80HF offered 5K resolution and USB-C connectivity.

Samsung said the Odyssey G8 lineup included DisplayPort 2.1, AMD FreeSync Premium, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, and HDR10+ GAMING.
