Sony said on May 7, 2026, in Malaysia that it received multiple TIPA World Awards 2026 and iF Design Awards 2026 for imaging products.

Sony received four TIPA World Awards 2026. The awards covered the Alpha 7 V, RX1R III, FE 50-150mm F2 GM, and FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS. TIPA is organised by the Technical Image Press Association.

TIPA named the Alpha 7 V Best Full Frame Expert Camera. It named the RX1R III Best Professional Fixed Lens Camera. It named the FE 50-150mm F2 GM Best Full Frame Telephoto Zoom Lens. It named the FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS Best Macro Lens.

Sony also received iF Design Awards 2026 recognition. The cited products were the VENICE Extension System Mini, RX1R III, and OCELLUS Spatial Capture Solution. The source said iF Design Awards evaluated innovation, functionality, and user experience.

Sony said the awards followed earlier recognition from the Expert Imaging and Sound Association. At the EISA Awards 2025-2026, Sony received six honours. The source listed Camera of the Year for Alpha 1 II and Lens of the Year for FE 50–150mm F2 GM.
