IHG Hotels & Resorts on 27 May 2026 announces the signing of Canary Riverside Plaza, Vignette Collection, a luxury conversion hotel in London’s Canary Wharf, opening in summer 2026.

The 142-room property, developed with Yianis Group, would offer guestrooms and suites overlooking the River Thames and the City, a restaurant and bar, and meeting and events space for up to 200 guests.

Guests would have access to an adjacent health club and spa. IHG said the Canary Wharf location, a financial and professional services hub, provided strong connectivity across London and to international gateways.

IHG reported that 74% of openings and all signings in the UK and Ireland in the first quarter of 2026 came from conversions and that it operated 384 hotels in the region, with 28 in development.
