Apple unveils Siri AI, updated Apple Intelligence, parental controls, and software changes across its platforms at WWDC26 in Cupertino on June 9, 2026.
Apple said Siri AI is a new version of Siri integrated into iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. It said the system can use personal context, answer questions about on-screen content, search across apps, and access web information.
Apple said the releases include new parental controls and Screen Time updates. It said parents can set up child accounts, approve new contacts, limit app access, and set daily time allowances for Entertainment, Games, and Social Media.
Apple said the software updates improve responsiveness and reliability across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27, and tvOS 27. It said app launches were up to 30% faster, photos loaded up to 70% faster, and AirDrop transfers were up to 80% faster.
Apple said developer testing began on June 9 through the Apple Developer Program, with a public beta due next month and free software updates scheduled for release this fall. It said some features vary by device, language, region, and regulatory approval.
