Dorchester launches a redesigned terrace for its restored Oliver Messel Suite in London on June 8, 2026, partnering with artist and designer Luke Edward Hall to complete the project.

The hotel said the terrace was curated by Hall for the suite overlooking Hyde Park. It said the launch completed the restoration of the Oliver Messel Suite.

Dorchester said Hall drew on colours, materials and fabrics from the suite’s interiors for the terrace design. It said the terrace included antique and contemporary furniture, textiles from Hall’s Rubelli collection, and parasols and rattan loungers from Italian and English makers.

Luke Edward Hall said he selected furniture, fabrics and accessories to remain in keeping with Messel’s interiors. General manager Luca Virgilio said the terrace extended the story of the restored suite.

Dorchester said the terrace was available exclusively to suite guests above Park Lane. It said the project followed renovations across guest rooms, suites, bars, restaurants, spa, florist and cake boutique.
