Samsung Electronics announces the Galaxy A27 5G smartphone in Malaysia with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and integrated artificial intelligence features.

The device featured a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It included a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5000 mAh battery, and an IP64 water and dust resistance rating. The hardware ran on Android 16 with up to six years of promised security updates.

Integrated software supported Google Gemini, Perplexity, and updated Circle to Search functionality with multi-object recognition. The voice recorder application translated transcriptions across 22 languages, while Bixby operated as a conversational device agent.

Samsung priced the 128GB storage model at RM 1,399 in black, dark blue, and light pink colour options. A promotional launch offer running until July 21, 2026, provided a double storage upgrade to 256GB for RM 1,399. The company also offered a free phone case and bundle discounts on selected Galaxy ecosystem products.
