Xiaomi EV announces its second vehicle product series, the Xiaomi SkyNomad, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Beijing, an intelligent, reconfigurable, large-space SUV built on the Kunlun Architecture.

The new series serves as a counterpart to the driver-focused Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaomi YU7 series, focusing instead on adaptable cabin living space.

The vehicle utilises a flat floor and a long-track seating system to switch between driving mode and parked configurations, including a lounge or workspace.

Development for the new series began in early 2023 under the direction of Xiaomi Founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun.

The company stated the SkyNomad series will launch soon in the Chinese mainland following three and a half years of development.
