OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia opens bookings for the all-new electric JAECOO J5 EV with an estimated starting price of RM125,000 in Kuala Lumpur as of July 23, 2026.

The company delivered over 8,100 vehicles year-to-date as of July 2026. This sales performance placed the brand fifth among Malaysia’s best-selling automotive brands.

The JAECOO J5 model, launched in March 2026, surpassed 2,500 deliveries in four months. New energy vehicle deliveries rose 843% year-on-year to 2,300 units in the first half of 2026.

OMODA & JAECOO operates in 77 global markets and achieved one million total sales globally within three years. The brand collaborated with robotics company AiMOGA to develop embodied intelligent robots.
