Tourism Malaysia launches the Citrawarna 2026 cultural festival at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur on July 25 to promote national heritage under the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.

The event features 3,500 performers representing all 13 states and three Federal Territories.

The three-day festival attracted over 700 international visitors through curated travel packages. Attendees came from markets including China, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, and France.

Organisers structured the event around four core experiences featuring culinary offerings, craft booths, and interactive activity stations. The festival concludes on July 26, 2026.
