Samsung Electronics announced the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 smartwatches featuring AI-driven health tracking, Snapdragon Wear Elite processors, and enhanced display brightness.
The new smartwatches incorporate Samsung’s BioActive sensor to track continuous biometric data across metrics including Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load, and Fitness Index. Both models run on the Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform to enable health monitoring functions.
The 47 mm Galaxy Watch Ultra2 features an 800 mAh battery, a 5,000-nit display, and specialised sports tracking for trail running and diving. It includes IP69K and 10 ATM water resistance ratings alongside dedicated Marine, PeakForm, and Trail bands.
The Galaxy Watch9 launched in 40 mm and 44 mm aluminium casing sizes with a 3,000-nit display. It incorporates a 390 mAh battery in the 40 mm variant and supports interchangeable Sports, Misty, and Fabric band collections.
