Samsung Unveils Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra Fold8 And Flip8

Samsung Electronics introduced its new Galaxy Z foldable smartphone series on July 22, 2026, featuring the Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, and Z Flip8 with updated display engineering.

The flagship Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra debuted with an 8-inch main display, measuring 4.1 mm unfolded and weighing 215 grams. It incorporated a 5,000 mAh battery with a dual-path 45W charging architecture and an expanded graphite cooling structure.

The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 weighed 201 grams and featured a 10:16 cover screen with a 4:3 main display. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, it integrated a 4,800 mAh battery and dual 50 MP cameras.

Samsung introduced Flex Titanium technology across the lineup, combining a titanium-alloy film with an enhanced titanium plate to strengthen display support. Displays reached up to 3,000 nits of brightness.

The devices integrated updated Galaxy AI features, including Now Brief, Now Nudge, and Gemini Intelligence app automation across more than 40 supported services.
