Apple has introduced its M6 and M5 Ultra chips to boost performance and artificial intelligence processing across its Mac lineup.
The M6 chip is built on a 2-nanometer process technology featuring a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU. It includes a Dual 16-core Neural Engine that delivers up to twice the peak artificial intelligence compute performance.
The M5 Ultra chip features a quad-die architecture connected through next-generation UltraFusion technology. It supports an 80-core GPU, up to 512GB of unified memory, and 1.2TB per second of memory bandwidth.
