Proton has presented five key automotive technologies at GATE 2026 on August 26, 2026, to showcase its progress in electrification and connected mobility.

The Malaysian carmaker highlighted hybrid electric vehicles, electronic architecture, turbocharged engines, driver assistance systems, and connected infotainment. Held at MITEC, the expo brings together regional industry leaders to advance automotive technology.

Proton also marked its ISO 50001 certification for energy management across manufacturing operations. Vehicle sales reached 118,788 units during the first seven months of 2026.
