Samsung Electronics announced the Galaxy S26 FE smartphone featuring One UI 9 operating system and upgraded camera capabilities on August 27, 2026.

The device features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 4,900 mAh battery supporting 45 W charging. It runs on an Exynos 2500 processor with 8 GB RAM and storage options up to 512 GB.

The triple rear camera setup includes a 50 MP wide lens, 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 12 MP front camera handles selfies, while software features include automated video tracking and image editing tools.

The smartphone includes Galaxy AI tools such as personalised daily briefs, app suggestions, and multi-object image searching. Samsung will offer up to seven generations of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates for the device.

The Galaxy S26 FE will be released in Malaysia on September 4, 2026, with pricing starting at RM2,899.
