Rice brand Jati and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security unveiled a record-breaking paddy art formation at MAHA 2026 on Tuesday, September 1.

The Malaysia Book of Records recognised the 119-foot by 126-foot artwork as the country’s largest paddy art formation. The installation was grown from living MR 284 paddy seeds in a heart shape featuring the brand name.

Planning involved AutoCAD coordinate mapping and phased planting across three growth stages to generate varying crop colours. The Jati logo within the formation measured 58.42 feet by 19.07 feet.

Malaysia Book of Records Chief Operating Officer Jwan Heah presented the certification to LK Labuan Foundation Chairman Low Kok Kean. Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu attended the presentation ceremony.
