Samsung Unveils 2027 Odyssey Gaming Monitor Lineup At Gamescom 2026

Samsung Electronics announced its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup during Gamescom 2026 on Tuesday, September 1, featuring new display form factors and refresh rates.

The announced lineup includes the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9, the 42-inch curved Odyssey OLED G7, the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8, and the 27-inch Odyssey G6.

The Odyssey OLED G9 features a 360 Hz refresh rate in Dual QHD resolution and supports up to 720 Hz in Dual HD mode. The Odyssey OLED G8 offers a 360 Hz refresh rate at UHD resolution and includes Triple Mode support to switch between alternative resolution and refresh rate settings.

The Odyssey OLED G7 contains a 1,000 mm curvature radius, 4K resolution, a 165 Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms response time. The Odyssey G6 utilises a Fast IPS panel that reaches up to 1,100 Hz in HD resolution and 600 Hz in QHD resolution.

Samsung stated plans to expand its HDR10+ GAMING support to more than 20 titles by the first half of 2027, including Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The company also presented 3D game support for titles including Cyberpunk 2077 and Cronos: The New Dawn.

Global availability for the Odyssey G6 is scheduled for the second half of 2026, with launch timing and pricing for the overall lineup to be announced later.
