Mitsubishi Motors Corporation unveiled its fully redesigned, next-generation flagship Pajero cross-country SUV during a world premiere event on Wednesday, September 2.
Built at the company’s Thailand production base, the vehicle will launch first in Thailand, followed by Japan and Australia in fiscal year 2026.
Starting in fiscal year 2027, Mitsubishi Motors plans to expand distribution to approximately 100 countries across ASEAN, Latin America, and the Middle East.
The model incorporates a ladder frame, suspension tuning, Super-All Wheel Control, and Super Select 4WD-II control systems.
Company president Keisuke Kishiura stated that the SUV represents the initial implementation of the firm’s mid- to long-term 2030s vision.
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia stated that local pricing, availability, and market specifications have not been confirmed for the Malaysian market.
