Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that Team Mitsubishi Ralliart won the 2026 Asia Cross Country Rally in Thailand, marking its second consecutive overall title, on Thursday. August 27.

Driver Katsuhiko Taguchi and co-driver Takahiro Yasui finished the 2,145.19-kilometre course in 12 hours, 58 minutes, and 20 seconds using a T1-spec Triton pickup.

The victory represents the first overall rally win by a Japanese driver and co-driver pairing in the event’s history.

The team fielded three modified Triton vehicles across six stages held from August 9 to 15.

Teammates Kazuto Koide and Chayapon Yotha placed 27th and 36th overall, respectively.
