Seiko Relaunches King Seiko VANAC Series Featuring Caliber 8L45 Mechanical Movement

Watch manufacturer Seiko announced the relaunch of its 1972 King Seiko VANAC collection, introducing updated models powered by the automatic Caliber 8L45 movement on Wednesday, September 9.

Seiko stated the updated series features a bezel-less case design, a horizontal stripe pattern on the dial, and a see-through sapphire crystal case back.

The company said the Caliber 8L45 mechanical movement offers a 72-hour power reserve and an accuracy range of +10 to -5 seconds per day.

According to Seiko, the collection includes model options on a newly developed stainless steel bracelet and sustainable leather straps certified by the Leather Working Group.
