Apple Announces Apple Watch Ultra 4 Featuring Health Sensing System

Technology company Apple introduced the Apple Watch Ultra 4 featuring the S11 chip, upgraded health sensors, and expanded battery capabilities on Thursday, September 10.

Apple stated the device incorporates a new Health Sensing System with optical and electrical heart sensors that measure heart rate every five seconds.

The company said the watch provides up to 50 hours of standard battery life, 84 hours in Low Power Mode, and 45 hours in workout tracking mode.

Additional features include a daily readiness score, redesigned pedometer algorithms, and on-device sound recognition enabled by a hardware-isolated Secure Exclave on the S11 chip.

According to Apple, the device is composed of 45%recycled material, including 100%recycled titanium in the case and 100%recycled cobalt in the battery.

Apple stated that pre-orders begin September 11, with store availability starting September 18 at a base price of RM3,699.
