McDonald’s Malaysia Expands Eid al-Adha Donations Across Five States

McDonald’s Malaysia says it has distributed 25 sacrificial cattle across five Malaysian states from May 27 to 29, benefiting more than 3,000 families during Eid al-Adha.

The company said the sixth annual programme, launched in 2021, focused this year on Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Perlis, and Kedah.

McDonald’s Malaysia said partner mosques in each state coordinated meat distribution and identified eligible recipients. It also said it delivered nearly 1,000 “Kotak Rezeki” boxes containing daily necessities and McDonald’s meals.

The company said the programme was carried out through selected McDonald’s restaurants and partner mosques under its Komuniti @ McDonald’s initiative.
