On June 11, PRO-NET launched the Proton e.MAS 7 Premium Plus at KLIMS 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, adding a higher-range, higher-comfort variant to its EV lineup.
The company said the variant carries a 68.39kWh AEGIS Short Blade Battery with an estimated WLTP range of up to 450 km. It retains DC fast charging of up to 115kW, with 30%-80% charging in about 20 minutes.
New features include dual front massage seats, a powered front passenger seat with four-way adjustment and memory, and an integrated passenger leg rest. PRO-NET said the model was the first in its segment to combine those features with up to 450 km WLTP range.
PRO-NET said the e.MAS 7 PHEV had recorded 2,936 deliveries year-to-date, making it Malaysia’s No.1 PHEV model. It also said more than 23,700 Proton e.MAS vehicles were on Malaysian roads.
Recommended retail prices without insurance were listed at RM125,800 for Premium Plus, RM119,800 for Premium and RM103,800 for Prime in Peninsular Malaysia. A limited-time RM7,000 launch rebate reduces those prices to RM118,800, RM112,800 and RM96,000.
