Marriott International and Propriétés & Co announced an agreement on Thursday, July 9, to develop a waterfront resort and residential project in Marseillan, marking the brand’s first French residences.
Scheduled to open in 2029, the project will occupy 15 acres by the Thau Lagoon in the Languedoc region.
The site will feature a 72-room hotel and 189 branded residences, including waterfront villas, apartments, and penthouses.
Planned amenities include nine culinary venues, a 2,000-square-metre spa, an art gallery, pools, and selected boutiques.
Slowlife Architects and interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán designed the project, which represents the fourth Luxury Collection property in France.
