IHG Hotels & Resorts officially opened Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai on June 30, 2026, marking the brand’s second luxury lifestyle hotel property in Shanghai.

Located in the Fengxian district, the low-density horizontal resort features 229 guestrooms, suites, courtyard pool rooms, and pet-friendly accommodations. Facilities include a kids’ club, pet park, and 2,150 square meters of event space.

The property offers three food and beverage venues: Mediterranean restaurant SOLA, Chinese restaurant SONG, and subterranean cocktail bar ECHO. It also features the 913-square-meter EverNine Spa & Wellness facility, indoor and outdoor pools, and a 24-hour fitness centre.

The opening expands Kimpton’s global portfolio to 87 operating hotels.
