Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia introduced the seven-seater Tayron R-Line SUV, featuring a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and all-wheel drive, starting at RM237,490 on August 12, 2026.

The locally assembled vehicle features a 265PS TSI engine generating 400Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission and Dynamic Chassis Control Pro.

The interior includes a 15-inch Discover Pro Max infotainment display, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro, Harman Kardon audio system, and ergoActive Plus front seats.

Safety equipment comprises the IQ.DRIVE suite, featuring Travel Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist, Lane Assist, and nine airbags including a front centre airbag.

VPCM also offers a mild-hybrid Tayron Elegance variant priced at RM250,074, with both models produced at Volkswagen’s assembly plant in Pekan.
