Camera manufacturer Insta360 launched the Luna Pro, a US$599.99 handheld 8K gimbal camera featuring a 1-inch sensor co-engineered with Leica on Thursday, September 10.
The device pairs a Leica Summicron lens with a 1-inch 8K sensor and a dual AI chip architecture. It records video in 8K Dolby Vision, 4K at 120 frames per second, and 1080p at 240 frames per second.
Features include 3-axis stabilisation, a detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen, 47GB of internal storage, and up to four hours of battery life. It also supports 4K30fps vertical video, 10-bit I-Log recording, and built-in Leica color profiles.
The Luna Pro is available immediately through the company’s online store, Amazon, and select global retailers in black and white finishes.
